Message from the President At the time of writing, there are a number of deals in the works that I would dearly like to announce. But I can't. Timing is everything and I don't want to jump the gun. What we have been focusing on in the last month is the relationship between our clients and us. During our voyage with the Quokka Online Booking System, we have realized that Internet businesses before us have scorched the earth. They had a vision of how online booking would work and tried to force it upon you without taking into account factors of your individual business.We have been adapting as we go, because it only makes sense. For example, we found our clients were often having trouble with email and not getting their notification of bookings. Despite the fact we tell our customers over and over and over to sign in every day (two at the most) and click on the Bookings button, many do not and sometimes get into an embarrassing situation with a guest. We have now launched the Booking Warning Report that is either emailed or faxed to customers who are not flagging their bookings as reviewed. We never thought we'd have to do such a thing, but we are realistic, which is something many of our competitors are not.
